Summer Car Show and Picnic!
DMVR has just booked our 2nd SCCA Summer Party at the
Park,
and all members and their family are invited!
The Party in the Park will be at the South Shelter of Des
Moines Water Works.
This shelter is located close to Izaak Walton League, on George Flagg Parkway.
Great for the whole family, we will be having some activities (looking for ideas and volunteers),
and we are asking everyone to bring their car or cars to show them all off!
Race Cars, Autocross Cars, Street Racers, bicycles (bicycle trail across the street), Bar Stool Racers, bring them all!

Ave, turn going northeast on George Flagg Parkway, go past Izaak Walton
driveway, and take the next left. Then take another immediate
left, the shelter is on the left. LEFT LEFT LEFT- how can you

Meal will be pot luck, bring a dish, favorite dessert, snacks, etc. DMVR will be providing hamburger patties,
possibly a few chicken breasts, buns, forks, knives, spoons, napkins, plates, beer, pop and ice.
Entertainment will include another Poker Run, and possibly a new trivia contest
(We are looking for an expert who can make one up for us for this year).
We are still in need of some door prizes for gifts, and assistance for about one hour
to help put on the Poker Run, and Trivia contests.
Bring your car so we can check out what you are tearing up the streets of Des Moines with.
Guaranteed to be a fun time, and we WILL be handing out some CASH prizes again this year! What more can you ask for?

have a great time with your family and friends!

beside it,
