 As most of you
know, Des Moines Valley Region and Nebraska Region have formed the
Missouri Valley Race Group, a joint effort between the Regions for
putting on racing events, particularly at the Mid-America
Motorplex (MAM) road racing facility near the Omaha/Council
Bluffs area. We're excited to be having our ninth
season
at this excellent facility!
Let's go racing!
The 2010 schedule is as follows:
The Mid America Motorplex racing facility is about 20 minutes south of Council Bluffs on Interstate 29, near Glenwood, IA. That puts it about 2.5 hours north of Kansas City via I-29; 2 hours west of Des Moines via I-80 / I-29, and an even closer drive for those in the Omaha area. Camping will be available at the track and MAM has modern restroom facilities in the paddock area, including showers. And plenty of hotels and restaurants are within 20 minutes away. We're
enjoying another exciting season for DMVR and Nebraska
