We have a lot going on at the track August 11th at the Raceway Park of the Midlands!
For all the workers and drivers we are offering:
- Friday Night dinner with party in Paddock to follow. What could be better than grilled food and great homemade adult beverages provided by Chas our “Brew Meister” (we will also have pop and water). I forgot the most important part – we will also be hosting the NRSCCA/DMVR 4 Square Championship. The winner will get region bragging rights and some great prizes.
- Saturday we will have a full day of on track action with lunch being provided for all drivers and workers.
- All drivers and workers will get a commemorative glass to so you can remember how much fun you had at RPM.
- Opportunities for friends or significant others to become involved as workers in the sport you love. The family that races together stays together.
- We welcome all workers at any experience level. You have the time and desire, we have the training to make you successful.
- I almost forgot the most important thing…TT/TE events are just plain fun!
For the Track Event (PDX) Drivers:
- Four 25 minute sessions on track. Believe me you will be tired after 4 sessions at RPM.
- Two tiers of driving experience. If you have not been on track before we have a spot for you. TE is a place to learn and prepare for further driving events.
- Skilled driving instructors to help with those who are just starting and for those that want to hone their skills.
- TE drivers can use about any street car that meets Solo safety rules. We do not have classes in TE, so you don’t have to worry about class restrictions getting in the way of your fun.
For the TT Drivers:
- One 25 minute Practice session and Four 20 minute points sessions. That’s 200 MiDiv points for a one day commitment. You cannot beat that!
- Trophy ceremony following the event. This is where we bring out the Champagne and celebrate the day’s accomplishments.
- Driver Awareness award for the driver who shows the most skill at staying out of those on track “issues.”
For the Road Racers:
- The MiDiv time trials program welcomes all those that want to further develop their driving skills. Time Trials is a great way to get track experience and further hone your driving skills for future events at RPM.
For the workers:
- You get a bird’s eye or behind the scenes view of all the on-track action.
- You get all the gratitude from the drivers. We love our workers and without you these events do not happen.
- We are going to pass the hat again and award one lucky worker with a cash prize.
